Well, in India there are many political parties, two major political parties are Indian National Congress and Bhartiya Janata Party, to win the election majority Congress party made an alliance with regional parties like Samajwadi Party, DMK, Trimool Congress, RJD, and more ,they made with alliance with 37 parties all over the country , this coalition party of Congress with these parties was known as I.N.D.I.A ,it was made in opposition to NDA which is an alliance party with BJP. Congress has won many elections of Lok Sabha since Indian Independence in 1947, but saw a decline from 2000s. BJP which is a major party won election in 2014 , 2019 and again in 2024. In 2024 election where Congress 's coalition party I.N.D.I.A won 234 seats and Congress alone won 99 seats. While BJP with NDA , Janata dal , Telegu Desam Party coalition won 293 seats of which 240 seats won by BJP alone. So, having more than 50 percent of 543 seats of Lok Sabha , BJP made a coalition government in 2024.
In this election more than 968 million people participated and gave their valuable votes , and more than 312 million women voters participated, this general election 2024 of Lok Sabha was the largest election of India till now.
