Sadiq Khan:Mayor of London won again in 2024 London mayoral election | International

In England , some local election held in May 2024, one of them was Mayor election in London. This was to choose one person for the seat , there were four major candidate named as Sadiq Khan, Susan Hall, Rob Blackie and Zoe Garbett Green, there were eight more candidates. Well, one fact for this election is that ,earlier electoral system which was used for this was Supplementary system where voters could vote for two candidate at a same time but had to give preference , then if first preference member is eliminated then second preference is taken as value if that second person is still a candidate and has not been eliminated or withdrawn. Like this , at last whoever gets most majority of votes ,the candidate wins. But this year 2024, the Mayoral election system was First Past The Post where each voter can only vote for one candidate, and one with the most number of votes wins the seat. The second fact is the term of the Mayor is only 4 years.
