Hello, everyone ,I was searching for what to write in my new blog post so I went to Google trends to search for what are trending queries about technology and digital media so I got some queries which were really very interesting so I thought to collect those queries and write on my blog post. Here are some trending and interesting facts of technology and media you should know . 

1- What is the first recognizable social media site?

Well, social media is in use and is very popular. Internet is available to us and we want to get more social via media channels. First recognizable social media site is Sixdegrees.com which started in 1998 and till 2000 it was very popular. MacronView was the company who developed this website and CEO of the company was Andrew Weinreich who launched this first social media - sixdegrees.com, using this social media channel people could create their own group of friends having common interest.

2- When does Youtube came out?

Youtube is now one of most popular search engine where we can upload videos , watch videos , it is very helpful for education, music, information, and more. Youtube was launched on 14 Feb 2005 by Jawed Karim, Chad Hurley and Steve Chan ,these three people were employees of PayPal who created this online video platform and later YouTube was sold to Google in 2006. Jawed Karim was then first person who uploaded the first video on YouTube ,that first video name is Me ,at the zoo. 

3-  When does Facebook become available to users throughout the world?

Facebook is one of the best social media channel. Facebook has now changed its name to Meta. Facebook was just a website created by Mark Zuckerburg when he was studying in Harvard University in 2003, it was accessible only for Harvard University students ,later on 26 September 2006 , Facebook became public and everyone with 13 plus age and must have email address can access it. Facebook is now third website which has the largest number of visitors.  

4- In what decade Home computers became popular and sophisticated?

Earlier there were large size super computers used for calculation , scientific research and more then comes home computers which were smaller in size and can be used at home. It was 1977 when home computers started coming in use and by 1998 it became so popular that everyone was wanting to have it at their home. In 1980s , internet relay chats were there but when first social media platform was launched  in 1998, home computers became popular and mostly used for programming, playing games online , chatting etc. In 1990s , social media platforms like orkut, friendster ,myspace and online gaming made home computers popular. Now, still in 2024 home computers are widely used for education, office use, creating documents , watching movis ,videos ,music,arts etc. 

5- When blogging started becoming popular and in what year does the first blogging sites became popular?

Blog is a website where you can share your views ,information and more. Click here  to know what is a Blog ? It format,structure and more .Blogging started becoming popular by 1998-1999.  Well, first blog sites which became popular were Open diary launched by Bruce Abelson in October 1998, LiveJournal in March 1999 , Blogger was launched in 1999.

6- Which was the first web search engine ?

Search engine are software where we can type our queries and get some websites which can provide resolution to our query. Well. Archie was the first web search engine developed by Alan Emtage in 1990. Later, Yahoo and Google came which became more popular and are used more often.

7- What are some latest inventions in digital technology ?

Digital technology is the use of digital tools, softwares, internet technology, digital media platforms and more.Some latest inventions in digital technology are
