Modi visit to France for Bastille Day - What is this Bastille day ? - International

 France has a great history, French Revolution marked the beginning of Government of people and ended monarchy. Bastille day which is celebrated as National Day of France has a remarked view in the history of French Revolution. Bastille day is celebrated on every 14 of July in France, because this day is remembered as Beginning of that time when people of France were very frustrated and suffocated from their French kingdom in 17th century and people gathered together to bring a pause to that corrupt Government of France .People of France on 14 July 1789 gathered together and marched towards Bastille which was a castle used by French Kings to imprison people , the castle was demolished completely by then the people of France. Thus, that was a great day which is celebrated till now, because that day brought people of France ,showing up their unity. Now, there is no evidence of Bastille castle and moreover, another building on behalf of it was constructed which is called Place de la Bastille.

Now, let us talk about Narendra Modi (Indian Prime Minister) who visited to France where he was called as a Guest of Honor for the celebration of National Day of France on 14 July 2023. Well, it does show that France and India are coming together and have built a good relation. He was invited by French President - Emmanuel Macron. Indian soldiers and French soldiers marched a military parade during this event.



Moreover, Modi and Macron talked about many policies which can be beneficial to both nations. In this event , Narendra Modi is awarded Legion of Honor which is the biggest award of honor in France.

Thus, this is a really great event for world and India, where India is getting recognized by European nations like France and moreover France is helping India to prosper and providing more military ,navy , airforce help to India.
