Melania Trump, born in Novo Mesto. She lived her childhood in Sevnica.  Her father ' 's name is Viktor Knavs who was a car and motors dealer and her mother's name is  Amalijka, who was a patternmaker in a clothing factory in Sevnica. She has an older sister and a half brother. She did her high school and intermediate education in Ljubljana. She was doing graduation in architecture from the University of Ljubljana. which she dropped out after one year.

Her religion is Catholic.

Career- Modelling.

Melania Trump used to perform fashion modelling shows inaugurated by the factory in which her mother used to work when she was a child. She started fashion modelling when she was only sixteen years old. She changed her last name from Knavs to Knauss. At the age of eighteen, she signed with an agency in Italy for fashion modelling.  After dropping out of graduation, she came to Manhattan in 1996. In the USA when she came she was just a fashion model who was invited by her friend to Manhattan. She started working in the USA as a fashion modelling. She was a passionate fashion model. She was having only H1b visa which stated that she could only work and stay in The USA there but as a not a citizen of the USA.

In 1999, Donald Trump got divorced from his second wife, Marka Maples. 

 When she was asked by The New York Times what her role would be if Donald Trump were to become president, she replied: "I would be very traditional, like Betty Ford or Jackie Kennedy.

While Knauss was working for many American magazines, she worked as a fashion model for In Style Weddings, New York , Vogue and more, in 1999 Melania and Donald both appeared together during the Reform Party presidential nomination.
