It was March 2020 when India's Health Minister declared that there were 28 confirmed cases of Covid 19 in March 2020. Coved 19 had then spread to India, many cases in Kerala, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Agra were confirmed.India' Government is taking all prevention measures to stop the Coronavirus spread in the country.

Masks were then found at every shop in India. Airports and every station in the country were checked, every traveler was checked. It started with Kerala and Hyderabad from where the first cases of Coronavirus Covid 19 disease were confirmed First cases of Covid-19 in India in 2020.
FIRST CASE OF COVID 19 IN INDIA: KERALA
An Indian student of Wuhan University in China tested positive in Kerala, the health ministry of the state told in Jan 2020. Wuhan is the capital city in China from where Covid 19 virus spread. The student from Wuhan University who was staying in India tested positive for Coronavirus after returning to India from Wuhan, China. This was in January 2020. The student was from Thrissur in Kerala, she was returning to her hometown. Her samples for testing were approved positive by NIV in Pune. Then, she was quarantined in Thrissur General Hospital.
ITALIAN TOURISTS TESTED COVID 19 JAIPUR
Then in March 2020, more coronavirus-positive cases came into know when some tourists from Italy were found positive and quarantined later. More than 14 tourists were infected with Covid 19, they were traveling from Delhi to Jaipur by Bus, all tourists were 15 in numbers and 50-60s at age, were infected. With these tourists one of the Indian citizens who was riding the bus got infectious and then he was sent to Safdargunj Hospital with other 15 people, they all were later sent to the ITBP facility in New Delhi and were quarantined. This came from Jaipur, Rajasthan in March 2020.
CASE IN HYDERABAD: TECHIE GUY TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID 19
This was in March 2020 when a techie guy from Bengaluru was found corona positive. The guy was of only 24 years old and he was traveling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad by bus. He was admitted to Apollo hospital but was then recommended to Gandhi hospital. His samples were collected and tested positive in a lab in Pune. He was then quarantined and isolated. This was 2 March 2020 in India.
FIRST CORONAVIRUS CASE IN LUCKNOW: ONE PERSON FROM DUBAI TRAVEL
After so many cases confirmed in India, the health ministry of India started its steps towards securing its citizen from COVID 19 virus. It brought compulsory to wear masks, use of sanitizers, detection of coronavirus infection at airports, police became strict and scanned everyone coming from abroad or traveling in India. It was then in Lucknow were more in the first cases of Coronavirus came into the list. One person who came from Dubai was found confirmed with Coronavirus, his name was Rukhsar Khan,32 years old, hometown in Chandauli, Ayodhya, went Dubai to get a job but returned to India was found suspected of infectious then he was brought to Lok Bandhu Hospital from where he was referred to Gandhi Hospital. He was confirmed by NIV -National Institute of Virology in Pune. Some more cases were found in New Delhi and Agra at that period. By that time there were more than 3000 deaths and more than 60000 confirmed around the world and had spread in 60 countries by 6 March 2020.
After so many cases, the Indian Government called for a meeting in Mar 2020 and gave instructions to its citizen to prevent themselves from COVID 19. At Airports, railway stations, buses, and more transportation facilities, instructions were followed strictly and each one was scanned, more than 2 lakh people were reported scanned in one day at Mumbai airport. Whoever was found suspected of being infected with the virus was quarantined and sent into isolation. Many schools and colleges were asked to be closed and teaching through online mode were advised.
THE FIRST DEATH OF CORONA VIRUS IN INDIA WAS REPORTED ON 12 MARCH 2020 IN KARNATAKA--
One old man,76 years old who was having diseases of asthma and anxiety had been then in March 2020 detected with the coronavirus was found dead. He returned from Saudi Arabia with COVID 19 and his hometown was Kalburga, Gulbarga district, Karnataka.
CONCLUSION
India's Government has taken all its measures to prevent COVID 19. Nationwide Lockdown in India was projected 4 times in India -First, Started with 24 March 2020 to 14 April, then second from 15 April to 3 May then 3rd lockdown from 4 May 2020 to 17 May 2020 then 4th lockdown in India from 18 May to 31 May 2020. After the fourth lockdown, many states and cities were marked as containment zones wherever there was more possibility of spread of Covid 19 were fully lockdown. In some states lockdown was partially removed after June 2020, only grocery stores, health facilities, vegetable shops, etc. were open but shops like tea stalls, restaurants, gyms, educational institutions, were closed. This continuously happened till Jan 2021. And in 2021, Indian vaccines came into known by Jan 2021, and the program of injecting vaccines all over the country, more than 2 lakhs of people were found infected and given vaccines. Some Indian Coronavirus vaccine names are Covishield, Covaxin, Sputnik. Till April 2021 more than 139 million people had been given vaccines. The vaccine was being available to above 45 years old people free all over the country. But still, Covid 19 disease spread could not be not easily prevented in World, many districts and cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, and more still getting Coronavirus patients. Most states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh started their lockdown in April 2021,still continues. This was the story of the First coronavirus case and death in India, how Covid 19 started in India, all measures taken by the Government to safeguard the people of India.
