How was Hollywood started ?

Well, Hollywood is a place in Los Angeles , California. In 1800s it was just a resident of Tongva Native American people, it was just small community area. Then , in 1887 a real estate developer named as Harley Henderson Wilcox bought some land and registered the land as Hollywood. So, it became a neighborhood in Los Angeles. Then in the early 1900s , it was motion picture era , and film studios were mainly in New York and New Jersey, but there was a problem a man named as Thomas Edison held patents for  most of the motion films equipment so he used to ban or sue people who were using his technology and equipment , due to that most of the filmmakers decided to look towards Hollywood which was full of mountains, hills, nature where films could be created easily. So they moved to Hollywood and created film studios there , Nestor Film Company was the first studio there. By 1920s , it became a center for American Film Production and later studios like Paramount, Warner's Bros, 20th Century Fox emerged here. Between 1930s and 40s it was the Golden Age of Hollywood , directors like Steven Spielberg , Francis Ford, Martin Scorsese of 1970s made the Hollywood as a Global recognition for movies and tv shows.

1- Hollywood was a municipality by the vote in 1903, and it was 1910 when voters of the land decided to vote for emerging the land to Los Angeles so they can get access to water supply.

2- HOLLYWOODLAND , this name was erected in mountains of the Hollywood to advertise for real estate developers in 1923. but in 1949 Hollywood Chamber of Commerce decided to remove LAND from Hollywoodland so the sign became only as "HOLLYWOOD".

3- Public prosecutor was the first TV series filmed in Hollywood.

4- The World , The Fresh and The Devil of 1914 was the first fully colored movie of Hollywood.

5- Hollywood sign is protected by security system of the states which includes security cameras and motion detectors.

6- Universal Studios is the oldest studio of Hollywood.

7- Though Hollywood provides a variety of jobs , yet in 2022 it was recorded that there 1374 homeless people residing in their.

8- Sometimes people call Hollywood as tinseltown  and the dreamy factory.

9- It takes more than 500 people to create a Hollywood blockbuster, scripts are re written again and again while shooting the movie itself.

10- Hollywood takes 60% of the global box office revenue and top international markets for it are China, Japan and India.
