Rishi Sunak's Grandfather and Grandmother were from Gujranwala(means as Abode of Gujjars),Punjab which was parted from India to Pakistan during partition of India,1947. Before partition itself , Rishi Sunak's grandfather and his family shifted to Africa in 1935. His grandparents shifted to UK in 1960. Rishi Sunak's father Yashvir Sunak was born in Kenya, now his father is a General Practitioner in National Health Service ,UK and his mother Usha Sunak born in Tanzania of Africa, now she is Director and Pharmacist at Sunak Pharmacy in Southampton, England. Though Rishi Sunak 's parents were born in colonial countries of Africa, but  Rishi Sunak himself was born in 1980 in Great Britain. He completed his schooling in UK and had a MBA degree from Standford University of California of USA, in Standford University he met with Akshata Murty who is now his wife. Did you know that Rishi Sunak'wife Akshata Murty is daughter of the founder of Infosys ,N R Narayan Murthy. Well, Rishi Sunak and his wife are one of the richest people in Britain. Rishi Sunak-political career

It all started in 2014 when he was elected as Conservative candidate for Richmond (York's) which is a constituency in UK. In UK there are two major political parties one is Conservative party and the other one is Labour Party. Rishi Sunak belongs to Conservative party of UK, He was elected as MP from the same constituency-Richmond(Yorks) in 2015. He supported EU referendum in 2016, which means that does UK needs to be a part of European Union or not. He wanted UK to be unified alone and not to be a part of Europe. After this, he was re-elected as MP in 2017 from the same constituency Richmond(Yorks). He is well known for his speeches and work done by him during COVID 19 pandemic , he was one the best friend of UK Former PM Boris Johnson as they both belongs to the same political party. He became a member of Privy counsel in 2019, Privy counsel is a group of those politicians of UK who are senior and had been a member of House of Common or House of Lord, Rishi Sunak has been a member of House of Commons. Then, he was elected as Chancellor of the Exchequer in 2020, this was major breakthrough for him. Because this made him more popular in UK politics. He supported Ukraine in Russian invasion of the country. He is a Hindu and goes to temples everyday.
